The College of New Rochelle Aquatics Director/Head Women's Swimming Coach

The College of New Rochelle invites applications for the position of Aquatics Director/Head Women’s Swim Coach and this full-time position is available August 31, 2015.  As Aquatics Director, s/he will coordinate and monitor pool usage, hire lifeguard staff, oversee pool facility maintenance, and schedule and handle student/guest services to ensure that the pool facility meets the needs of the College Community.  The Aquatics Director will also manage, coordinate and lead the aquatics program within the College’s Physical Education department.  The Head Swim Coach responsibilities include all aspects of the development, implementation and administration of the women’s swim program.  A priority is the recruitment and retention of qualified, ‘best fit’ student-athletes, while other duties include coaching, scheduling, promotional activities, eligibility and rules compliance.  Must be able to work flexible schedule, as this position will require occasional evening and weekend work.

 The College’s conference affiliations include: NCAA Division III, Association of Division III Independents, Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and the Eastern College Athletic Conference.

 The successful candidate will possess the Bachelor’s degree and successful coaching experience, have current certification as CPO or APO, have certification recognized by NYS in First Aid/CPR/AED, and must be able to meet the College’s requirements to operate institutional vehicles.
