Marshall University is an NCAA Division I member of Conference USA located in Huntington, WV, bordering Ohio and Kentucky. 

The Swimming & Diving program is FULLY FUNDED (maximum 14 scholarships per NCAA limit). 

Marshall Athletics has just opened (August, 2015) a $32 Million Indoor Athletic Complex that houses an indoor football practice field, an indoor track, a 19,000 sq. ft. Sports Medicine and Athletic Training Center, a 12,000 sq. ft. academic center, and a 4,000 sq. ft. Marshall Athletics Hall of Fame.  A new, $8 million state of the art soccer stadium opened August 23, 2013. 

Marshall University Swimming & Diving is coached by Bill Tramel, who has coached at the University of Georgia under USA Olympic Coach, and 7-time NCAA Team Champion Head Coach, Jack Bauerle.  Tramel also won 7 ACC Team Championships while coaching at North Carolina along side Frank Comfort, the winningest coach in ACC history.  More recently, Tramel won 3 Big Ten Team Championships at the University of Minnesota with Head Coach Dennis Dale. This past season, Marshall finished 3rd at Conference USA, the best in school history.  Additionally, Marshall loses ZERO points to graduation for the coming season.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; collegiate swimming or collegiate coaching experience; knowledge of NCAA rules.

Duties: Assist the Head Coach in all phases of women’s swimming and diving program, including but not limited to recruiting, scouting, on deck coaching, other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Administrator. Dual position includes Head Coach for USA Swimming club, HYCAT.  Responsible for implementing a successful age group swimming program for swimmers 6-18 years of age.  This includes coaching and day-to-day operations, hiring and supervising coaching staff, selecting and attending meets, and other duties as assigned by the club owner, Coach Tramel.
