Virginia Tech Athletics invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach, Men’s and Women’s Swimming, in the department of Athletics. Virginia Tech is an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). This position coordinates and administers aspects of student-athlete recruitment for the men’s and women’s swim program, operating under the appropriate NCAA bylaws. Coaches and/or assists with the coaching of one or more sub-components of the overall program, and assists in all aspects of student athlete training for athletic competition.  Reports directly to the head coach.  Bachelor's degree and related experience.

College coaching experience and/or playing experience.

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Working knowledge of individual skills and team systems.

Experience and/or ability to recruit and instruct student-athletes.


Master’s degree.

Division I coaching and/or playing experience.

Division I recruiting experience.
