Virginia Wesleyan University has an immediate opening for a part-time Assistant Men’s and Women’s Swimming Coach. The Assistant Coach will aid in all aspects of the swimming program, while complying with all University, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Duties include, but are not limited to: organizing and implementing the team’s training program, preparing the team for competitions, supervising and mentoring the student-athletes, recruiting talented student-athletes, and assisting in fundraising activities. Some travel is involved.
Bachelor’s degree required. Candidates should have a valid Virginia driver’s license and certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED. Competitive collegiate swimming and coaching experience preferred.
