Position Description: Widener University is currently seeking a highly qualified Associate Head Coach of Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Aquatics who will be responsible for all aspects of the program, including operations and care for the Schwartz Natatorium, under the direct supervision of the Director of Athletics. This position is a temporary position from July 2019- March 2020.

Duties and Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)
Develop and manage an NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Swimming program in accordance with NCAA and university guidelines.
Responsible for staff management, budget management, practice planning, meet preparation, coordinating team travel, coordinating on and off campus recruiting, athlete evaluations, and all related daily operations.
The successful candidate must show experience in recruiting and retention of student-athletes and student-athlete academic monitoring.
Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Education/Training and Experience Required):
Collegiate coaching experience
Certifications in WSI, Life Guarding, CPR and First Aid.
A valid driver’s license
A minimum of 3 -5 years of related experience in coaching swimming
