Scholar All-America IndividualApplication

Award Criteria

Swimmers and divers who have achieved both academic and athletic excellence may be eligible for the CSCAA Scholar All-America award.  The following criteria must be fulfilled in order to be selected:
  • Institutions must be members in good standing of the CSCAA;
  • Students must have have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.50 or higher for either the semester/ quarter that coincides with their respective national championship OR cumulative throughout their career;
  • Students must be in good standing with their team and institution throughout the entire season;
  • Students must be nominated by a current CSCAA member or their designee by the entry deadline; and
  • Students must have achieved minimum athletic standards:
    • First Team: Have competed at their respective championship either as an individual or as a part of a relay.
    • Second Team: Have achieved an individual "A" or "B" time standard or competed in their respective NCAA diving qualification meet.  Individuals achieving "B" standards as a part of a relay are not eligible.

To be eligible, institutions must be members in good standing of the CSCAA.

To expedite your application please have the following information prior to beginning:

  • Name, E-mail address, and title of your Athletic Director
  • Name, E-mail address, and title of your Media Relations Contact
  • Name, E-mail address, and title of your Faculty Athletic Representative
  • Name and title of your Chief Academic Officer (President, Chancellor, Etc)
  • Name, GPA and qualifying standard for each student
