5th Annual Collegiate Open Water Championships Results |
|

Austin, Texas – Trinity University, coached by John Ryan, put forward great depth to take the win in both Men’s & Women’s Divisions at the 5th Annual ASA Open Water Swimming Collegiate National Championships held in Lake Travis, Austin, Texas on October 1, 2011.
Winning the men’s division and leading Savannah College of Art and Design Men to a 2nd place overall finish was Alexander Grandins. Grandins time of 58:48.4 led the entire field on the approximate 5k course. Battling closely for first & second place in the Women’s division were Texas A&M teammates: Cammile Adams,1:02:46.5 and Maureen Mclaine, 1:02:46.7.
ASA Open Water Swimming Collegiate National Championships are open to any student, who is enrolled full-time in an accredited institution of higher education, including any post high school accredited vocational or technical school, junior college, community college, college or university (including graduate schools, medical schools, law schools and post-graduate studies).
