The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America works to strengthen collegiate swimming and diving, its member institutions and member coaches through advocacy, education and promotion. CSCAA member coaches and institutions work to build successful programs that create transformative educational experiences.
Why Join the CSCAA?
Advocacy
The CSCAA works on both the front lines and behind the scenes to advocate for the sport. This means helping get new programs off the ground and fighting to preserve those that are vulnerable. The CSCAA also provides a voice for college coaches to the NCAA, campus leaders and the broader swimming and diving community in areas ranging from championship access to recruiting.
Events & Services
Signature events like the the Collegiate Open Water Championship, College Swimming and Diving Awards and National Invitational Championship showcase the sport and create championship access. Members also have access to tools like our Budget Calculator, customized Alumni Portal and Program Health Index.
Awards & Recognition
Only CSCAA members are eligible for All-America and Scholar All-America awards. Each year we recognize dozens of coaches and over two thousand student-athletes. These highly-visible awards bring positive attention to your program and help your alumni stand out from the crowd.
The CSCAA is also responsible for Swimmer, Diver and Coach-of-the-Year Awards. These awards are selected by the membership and presented annually at the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Championships.
Professional Development
The CSCAA Annual Meetings stands as the year’s best professional development opportunity for coaches. It is far from the only one though. Events like the CSCAA Coach Academy and Women’s Advisory Committee offer smaller, highly-focused curricula to help coaches build and defend their program. Members also have access to dozens of webinars, videos, and articles.
Employment & Networking
The CSCAA works with both coaches and institutions to find the best match. Members have access to employment listings, real time salary data, and career advice. The CSCAA also assists athletic departments in coaching searches by helping identify and recruit a pool of qualified candidates.
The CSCAA Coach Academy, Women’s Coaching Forum, Mentoring Network and member committees provide leadership and networking opportunities for coaches to build their network and advance their career.
Institutional Memberships
2025-2026 Membership Fees:
All NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA institutions are eligible for memberships. Institutional memberships run from July 1-June 30 and include all members of your coaching staff.
- NCAA Division I: $325 per gender or $650 per combined program.
- NCAA Division II & III, NAIA, NJCAA AND CCCAA: $275 per gender or $550 per combined program.
- A $150 late fee is assessed to any membership renewed after December 15th.
Become a Legacy Member
The CSCAA Legacy Membership was created to honor longtime collegiate coaches and ensure our association remains connected to those who have built the foundation of our sport. Legacy Members are an important part of our community, bringing history, perspective, and inspiration to future generations of coaches and student-athletes.
As a Legacy Member, you’ll receive CSCAA newsletters and coach correspondence, gain access to register for the CSCAA Annual Meetings and virtual Town Halls, have the opportunity to nominate future award winners, and be invited to join us at the Annual Celebration. For a small, tax-exempt fee of $25, your membership directly supports the CSCAA’s mission to protect, preserve, and expand college swimming and diving opportunities.
