CSCAA Announces 2023 NIC Coach of the Meet Winners

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced the 2023 winners of the National Invitational Championship (NIC) Men’s Coach of the Meet & Women’s Coach of the Meet. These awards were determined by a coach vote amongst the participating teams.

After leading the Queens men to the team title and coaching Alex Bauch to the Men’s Athlete of the Meet, Jeff Dugdale took home the Men’s Coach of the Meet award. Impressively, the Queens men also set five individual meet records and four relay meet records.

For the women it was Akron’s Brian Peresie who was selected as the Coach of the Meet. Peresie led the Zips to a strong second-place finish and helped Rebecca Reid earn Women’s Athlete of the Meet. Reid scored the most points of any athlete in the meet, male or female.
