NIC Spectator Policy Announced

General spectators will not be permitted at the the 2022 National Invitational Championship. This decision has been made as a result of local health guidance, the growth of the championship, and a need to utilize spectator seating for student-athletes. Elkhart Selected to Host 2021 & 2020 Championships

With a record number of teams and student-athletes descending on Cleveland for Thursday’s start of the 2020 National Invitational Championship (NIC), the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced that the Elkhart Health and Aquatics Center Elkhart, IN will host the (NIC) in 2021 and 2022. The NIC is the largest and most innovative college swimming championship in the country.

NIC To Move Forward Without Spectators

Based on recommendations provided by the State of Ohio, spectators will not be permitted to attend the National Invitational Championship (NIC) at Cleveland State University. Although no cases of coronavirus have been detected on the University campus, the decision to not admit spectators is a preventive effort that aims to minimize the potential for exposure.
