CSCAA TO HOST 2023 ANNUAL MEETINGS IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) will host Annual Meetings in Orlando, Florida in May 2023. Annually the CSCAA hosts meetings full of keynote speakers, educational opportunities and invaluable networking for College Swimming and Diving Coaches across all divisions including Division I, II, III and NAIA. The four day event will be hosted at The DoubleTree, Universal in Orlando, Florida May 7-10th, 2023.

#CSCAA100 Celebrates Association's 100th Year

One hundred years ago, a handful of coaches assembled to create the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), the nation’s first intercollegiate coaching association. CSCAA Sets Convention Record

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) shattered nearly every previous attendance record for its Digital Convention. With 635 coaches in attendance, the association nearly doubled its previous record of 320 attendees. Seventy-one diving coaches also attended, tripling the previous mark.

CSCAA Opens Call for Presentations

Six Selected for Freeman Class of 2019

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) have selected Kristin Walker, Daniel Dozier, Mona Groteguth, Alice McCall, Nathan Hardingand Daniel Burke.to receive the Jean Freeman Scholarship.  The scholarships are given annually to six assistant coaches whose exceptional contributions have brought recognition to their college or university, and whose leadership, integrity, honesty, competitive attitude and personal graciousness epitomize those characteristics reflected by Jean Freeman, longtime women's swimming coach at the University of Minnesota.

Freeman Class of 2018 Selected

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected six assistant coaches to receive the Jean Freeman Scholarship.  The scholarships are given annually to six assistant coaches whose exceptional contributions have brought recognition to their college or university, and whose leadership, integrity, honesty, competitive attitude and personal graciousness epitomizes those characteristics reflected by Jean Freeman, longtime women's swimming coach at the University of Minnesota.

Converse Named Steadman Winner

Longtime Air Force women's swimming coach Casey Converse has been selected for the Richard E Steadman Award by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.   The Richard E. Steadman award is conferred annually to a swimming or diving coach in high school, club, or university ranks who, in the opinion of the International Swimming Hall of Fame, Inc. the CSCAA Forum, and the CSCAA, has done the most to spread happiness in Coach Steadman’s beloved sport of swimming and diving. Converse will be recognized at the CSCAA's 57th Annual Awards Banquet on May 8th at the Bahia Resort in San Diego.

Sutton Named Franklin Award-Winner

Longtime C-M-S Athletic Director Michael Sutton has been named the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America's Ben Franklin Award-winner.   Awarded to the individual, or organization, whose efforts and or innovations best promote the integrity and enhancement of the student-athlete ideal.   Sutton will be recognized at the CSCAA's 57th Annual Awards Banquet on May 8th at the Bahia Resort in San Diego.

Morgan Burke Named McCaffree Award-Winner

Longtime Purdue Athletic Director Morgan Burke has been selected for the Charles McCaffree Award by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.   The McCaffree Award is presented annually to an individual connected to the sport of swimming and diving who has achieved outstanding success outside of the pool.  Burke will be recognized at the CSCAA's 57th Annual Awards Banquet on May 8th at the Bahia Resort in San Diego.
